My Story of Affliction
Landing on My Life!

Phyllis Peterson

Gratitude is the beginning of wisdom stated differently true wisdom cannot be obtained unless it is built on a foundation of true humility and gratitude.

My sense of purpose before was my son’s and making sure that they had what they needed to become successful human beings now my purpose have shifted for me I am now looking beyond my own tragedies looking for other tragedies that will most definitely keep happening if I don’t keep talking about this, this is my life’s mission to make sure we put common-sense Solutions in our existing gun laws, black-on-black crimes and Beyond just making sure that people’s lives are the way our Constitution says that they supposed to live.

I have turned to organizing and activism in the wake of the tragedy by foundering the Aramis Peterson and Juicy Foundation to promote gun control and the releasing of violent offenders I never thought gun control would touch my life but my eyes are wide open now someone who shouldn’t have never been released from jail on aggravated charges should have been held and waited for trial that may have saved his life and definitely may have saved my son’s life but the Fulton County Courthouse decided to give this person a bond while already being released on another Bond and another Bond and with the within 24 hours of that release he robbed and murdered my son In Cold Blood in front of his sons and since then have been found guilty of malice murders aggravated assault and other multiple aggravated charges with the sentence of Life plus 5 gang related charges without the possibility of parole. Another black life has been lost and a lot of the accountability that should be held are the people that we elected and placed in politics see this country is at a crossroad the Supreme Court hangs on the balance at the same time the US is Reckoning with centuries of racism while Injustice as the White House Strokes division along with racial lies at this time.

We need independent news organization that fights for truth and hold accountability its not just an option it is essential I believe every one of us deserve equal access to fact-based news in truths. This is why it is so important to me to organize an organization that fights for truth and hold accountability especially to elected officials who don’t do their job or fail our families and communities. Let’s take our power, families and communities back I believe every one of us deserves equal opportunity at life.

And interrogated approached that forces that shape Our Lives are interrelated oppositions we cannot end racism in one area without tackling it in all areas racism and all color and shapes and sizes policing is propped up by racist media narrative on crime and justice politically inequality. We are design to win. Having strategies to change the written and Unwritten rules in the industries that affect black people especially the lives of black and brown communities is a must. I think we will have the greatest potential to advance.

The Aramis Peterson and Juicy Foundation is building a new and effective strategy for domestic violence through trauma of kids mothers and fathers black-on-black crimes and changing the rules of society lives by ending the Injustice black and brown people face.
